Those on the side of the Arizona law, and helped to craft the law itself, said that the court's decision help to affirm the right of the states to create laws that address regional problems. Thirty-seven percent of Latinos are sex trafficked and 56 percent are labor trafficked victims in the U.S., according to the Department of Justice. Within the percentage of citizens being trafficked for forced prostitution in the U.S., most are Latinas under the age of 25.
