Texas is the 13th state in the country to limit abortion procedures in the past year. North Dakota and Arkansas have already banned abortion as early as six and 12 weeks.

Alabama, North Carolina, Mississipi, Wisconsin and Indiana have all drafted restrictions in hopes of passing a new law against abortion.

"The fight over this law will move to the courts," Cecile Richards, President of Planned Parenthood Action Fund, said in a statement. "People are enraged by this law."

The new Texas law is scheduled to go into effect this October.

As more and more laws are passed in the U.S. creating restrictions on abortion, is the nation taking a turn for the better or worse when it comes to women and reproductive rights? Comment below!
