Although we can't be there to support the vigils being held across the country for the DREAM Act Day of Action organized by the National Council of La Raza today, we wanted to be sure that you have all the information you need to know about this key bill. The DREAM Act is a crucial piece of legislation for our young people; it would open a path for students and youth who were brought here before they could have been aware of their immigration status to become full-fledged, contributing members of society by allowing them to go to college and serve in the military.
