Mexico's Textbook Blunder Causes Massive Headache

Oopsie! Let’s hope Mexico’s school children learn from their education department’s mistakes.

As Mexico’s elementary school children prepare to return to school this Monday, the country’s teachers are scrambling to manually correct at least 177 grammatical errors found in the 235 million new elementary school textbooks recently printed by the Department of Education, reports the Associated Press.

"It’s unfortunate these things happen with the children’s textbooks,” said Conseulo Mendoza, president of the national parent teachers association.  “We are talking about the education of millions of children.
