Jenni & Chiquis: A Retrospective on Their Relationship Before the Star Passed Away

In earlier November, La Diva de la Banda claimed that Chiquis boyfriend Ángel del Villar insulted in the parking lot outside of where she recorded her radio show in Los Angeles. She tweeted about the incident and stated, “What kind of man are you? What makes you think it’s okay to scream nasty things like that to a woman that’s only shown you respect?”

Despite the drama, the Chiquis 'n Control reality television star wanted to make peace with her mother. Chiquis posted, “Twitter off! I gotta go pray. This is too much. So sad and heartbreaking. I can’t even believe it. Mom @jennirivera you know how to get a hold of me. Everyone who has shown us support, thank you. But for those of you who haven’t, it’s ok, I don’t blame you. But I won’t let comments break me. God bless you all.”
