Hispanic or Latino? Apparently, We Don't Care

With regards to the Latino poll participants, men apparently cared less than women about what they’re called; 74 percent of the Latino men polled said the label didn’t matter to them, in comparison to 67 percent of the women.

According to the HuffPo, this revelation of some Latinos not caring about whether they’re called “Hispanic” or “Latino” stems from the fact that most identify primarily by country of origin, rather than pan-ethnic terms. This comes from an earlier poll by the Pew Hispanic Center.

Tell us: do you care whether you’re called “Latino” or “Hispanic”?
