Don't give the El Paso Chihuahuas a ruff time -- their hilarious new baseballs jerseys benefit a pawsome cause!
The Chihuahuas, the Class AAA affiliate for the San Diego Padres, unveiled a puptastic new jersey for their Bark At The Park game. Bark At The Park is a special event that allows fans to bring their dogs to the August 3rd match against the Reno Aces at Southwest University Park in El Paso, Texas.
Hold your judgement on the interesting design until after you hear the best part: the poochtastic jerseys will be auctioned off after the game, with proceeds benefiting the Humane Society of El Paso.
I'm a native El Pasoan, so pawdon my bias: but I think these jerseys are incredible. (Seriously, who hasn't seen a hipster in Brooklyn wearing something similar?) El Paso Chihuahuas, if you're reading this, please make these available to order online. I'd love to support my hometown team and the homeless pups of Texas with this awesome swag!
Sound off: Would you buy an El Paso Chihuahua's jersey?
