Vikings Celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month With Hilarious Tweet

We think they meant well...but....que?!

The Minnesota Vikings accidentally offended many Latinos when they posted an unfortunate tweet celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month. On Sunday, the team played Cleveland, and posted this tweet:

“We are celebrating National Hispanic Heritage Month at today’s game. #BeatTheBrowns.”

The double-meaning of the hashtag was quickly noticed by fans, prompting the Vikings to delete the tweet.

The Minnesota team, however, didn't let the slip-up stop them from using the hashtag for the rest of the day. The Vikings added #BeatTheBrowns to nearly every tweet of the game.
