Trump Tweets 'The Wall is the Wall' in Effort to Clarify Position of Wall

 

On Thursday morning President Trump took to Twitter to reaffirm his stance on the wall after Chief of Staff, John Kelly, told Democrats that the president has "evolved" on his claim for a wall.

After Chief of Staff, John Kelly told Democratic lawmakers on Wednesday that the president's campaign promise to build a wall would not happen Trump launched a series of tweets Thursday morning claiming that the wall needed to happen and that Mexico would pay for the wall.

Kelly said the president had "changed his attitude" on the proposed border wall. He added "[The President] has evolved in the way he's looked at things.  Campaign to governing are two different things, and this President has been very, very flexible in terms of what is within the realm of the possible."
