On April 24, Trinidad Bueno-Sanchez, 43, met with the young women, who expressed interest in buying the man's iPhone 6, which he was selling for $450 on OfferUp.

When one of the teens handed the man an envelope with the money, he realized the cash was short. The women then sped off, robbing and dragging the man with their vehicle.

Bueno-Sanchez died three days later from head trauma he suffered after his body detached from the vehicle and his head hit the ground.

Courtney Sherman, an 18-year-old white woman, and two 17-year-olds have been charged with reckless homicide and robbery. It is still unclear if the teens have entered a plea.

Sherman is being held on $500,000 bond. While the other teens were taken to a juvenile center in Vernon Hills, Illinois, police told ABC7 Chicago they will all likely be charged as adults.

Bueno-Sanchez is survived by his wife, seven children and four grandchildren.

Lily Olmos, the man's daughter, said her father was "such a good person."

“He was there for everything,” Olmos said. “Band concerts, any type of concerts. He took us to prom, he picked us up from prom. He just did everything for us. He never said no. He was always there for all seven of us.”
