Talia Joy’s Family Asking for Donations to Charity

In lieu of flowers, Talia Joy Castellano's family are asking fans and supporters to donate to the late teen’s favorite cancer charity, the Huffington Post reports.

The 13-year-old who made a name for herself as a beauty blogger and YouTube sensation (with millions of views for her makeup tutorial videos) died on Tuesday after a six-year battle with neuroblastoma, an aggressive form of cancer – as well as leukemia.

Throughout her battle with cancer, Castellano worked closely with BASE Camp Children’s Cancer Foundation, a Florida-based nonprofit organization that helps cancer patients and their families with meals, parties and support groups.

On its website, the organization features a touching image of Castellano hugging a smaller cancer patient, as another looks on. All three are wearing hospital gowns.
