They will surely bring them good karma for this. According to People, three young Taco Bell customers in Michigan returned more than $3,000 after finding big stacks of bills in their drive-thru to-go bags.
Kennidi Rue and her friends Luke Postma and Grant Kruse found that, instead of the food they had ordered from the chain, they found loads of cash in three bags. In an interview with Kentwood, Mich. local TV station WZZM, Rue explained what happened that day.
“I opened my bag to get my food and it ended up being three bags of money – a lot of money – and then another wad of like a ton of twenties,” she said. “We added it up. We were like, 'What do we do with this now?’”
Rue thought out loud and added that, initially, “you want to keep it, of course. But then you're like, 'What's the right thing to do?' We were saying we'd never feel guilty about bringing it back.”
