Spanish Running With the Bulls Tradition Comes to U.S.

It seems America wants in on the running with the bulls action. The Spanish tradition has made its way to the U.S., starting with The Great Bull Run which took place in Virginia this past weekend.

Organizers said about 12,000 people attended the first event, including spectators, reports NBC Latino. One minor injury occured on the final run. Later events are planned for Texas, Florida, California, Minnesota, Illinois and Pennsylvania.

But the U.S. isn't the only one who wanted in on the tradition: the run has spread to other countries including Mexico, Peru, Portugal and France.
