WATCH: Slam Poet Says What's Wrong With ESL Education Today

Ten percent of all public school students are English as a Second Language (ESL) learners, but less than one percent of public school teachers are ESL instructors, according to The George Washington University's Face the Facts USA.

Dylan Garity, a slam poet for Button Poetry, performed "Rigged Game" -- a three minute poem about how the system is failing ESL students -- during last month's 2013 National Poetry Slam competition in Boston.
