Three Members of a Sex Bondage Ring to Stand Trial for Murder

Superior Court Judge K. Michael Kirkman ordered three members of an alleged sex bondage ring to stand trial for the murder of Brittany Killgore, 22. After a six-day  preliminary hearing, Kirkman declared that the evidence suggests that Killgore, a Marine’s wife, was the victim of a sick sexual fantasy after she was kidnapped and forced to partake in a sex ring, reports the AP.

Louis Perez, 46, Dorothy Maraglino, 37, and Jessica Lopez, 25, were ordered to face trial and charged with first-degree murder, kidnapping, torture, attempted sexual battery and conspiracy, after the lifeless body of Killgore was found near Lake Skinner last April, just four days after she met Perez to go on a dinner cruise. The suspects plead not guilty.

According to a medical examiner, Dr. Craig Nelson, who testified in court, Killgore was strangled to death before being dumped near the Riverside County Lake. In addition, the murder victim also had a deep cut from a saw below her left knee, which suggested possible intent of dismemberment after she died (picture of Killgore seen below).

Killgore had filed for divorce from her husband Cory just days before her disappearance. He was deployed to Afghanistan at the time of her murder and was cleared as a possible suspect. Killgore’s best friend explained that the victim was acquainted with the defendants, but never formed part of their sexual lifestyle.

Perez allegedly took Killgore to Maraglino's home in Fallbrook (near San Diego), where cops found a “sex dungeon” that included ropes, whips, a Taser, a nightstick, and spiked gloves. Lopez and the two other members were willing participants and saw him as a ‘master’ of their sex ring, according to detectives.
