Polls Reveal Support for Immigration Measure

Sixty-five percent said they would be okay with it if "they pay a fine, any back taxes, pass a security background check and take other required steps."

President Obama recently said the immigration reform bill will most likely miss the August deadline, but with this sort of backing by current citizens, the House could possibly pass immigration reform sooner rather than later.
