Mexican Women Forced to Have Sex with 25 Men a Day

A criminal complaint revealed that Mexican women were forced to have sex with 25 farm workers a day in rural New Jersey at a rate of $30 for fifteen minutes. The report also states that 13 people have been charged with smuggling women into the US and forcing them to have sex.

According to the Huffington Post, “this investigation was among several aimed at ‘blockading the repugnant sex trafficking corridor’ used to exploit victims from Tenancingo, Mexico," said James Hayes, head of Immigration and Customs Enforcement in New York.

One of the victims was smuggled into the United States by a man she was involved with romantically. Before he was deported, he forced her into the sex trade for several years.

While some victims mange to escape, according to what authorities say in court papers, “without legal status in the United States, without family and friends for support, without employment opportunities and as a result of the trauma they suffered, victims sometimes return to prostitution."

If the defendants are found guilty, they could face a maximum sentence of life in prison. Here’s to hoping…
