Mexican President Calderon Films Reality Show to Promote Tourism
By Fox News Latino | 08/23/2011 - 15:00 |
In a series of PBS programs set to broadcast starting in September, Mexico’s balding, 49-year-old president, Felipe Calderón, will go down a sinkhole, up a river (with a paddle) and over the top of a few pyramids in an attempt to boost Mexico's flagging tourism industry.
Calderón is personally trying to change his country's violent reputation by appearing as a sort of adventure tour guide in the programs, which will be broadcast in the United States.
