Louis C.K. Tackles White Privilege in 'SNL' Monologue
Louis C.K. guest hosted Saturday Night Live this weekend. Never afraid to talk about race, the comedian started his monologue by tackling white privilege.
In his joke, he discusses the special treatment white guests receive at hotels, and how he, disgusted with himself, expects it now.
“It’s wrong that white people get preferential treatment, but as long as they do, what’s going on at this hotel,” he jokes at his entitlement during a laundry mix-up at his lodging. “It’s awful and wrong, but where is it right now?”
In the end, Louis C.K. realized he was huffing and puffing for no reason because, as is often the case with white entitlement, he was directly responsible for the screw-up.
