Latino Sports Daily: Carmelo Anthony Injured & Gisele Bündchen Blames Hubby's Team For Super Bowl Loss

Here's today's Latino Sports Daily!

- Unfortunately for the New York Knicks, it seems part-Puerto Rican Carmelo Anthony has suffered yet another injury this season, this time a strained right groin. The damage occurred during the first quarter of the Knicks’ 99-88 win Monday over the Utah Jazz. Anthony faked a 3-point shot before lobbing an alley-oop to teammate Tyson Chandler and then hobbling down the court clutching his upper thigh according to ESPN.

Anthony exited the court after calling a time-out and did not return for the remainder of the game. The extent of the injury has yet to be determined, but with wrist, right thumb and ankle injuries already this season we’re sure exasperated Knicks fans are crossing their fingers for a speedy recovery.

- Brazilian supermodel Gisele Bündchen was quick to divert blame from husband quarterback Tom Brady after the New England Patriots fell to the New York Giants 21-17 in Sunday’s Super Bowl. “My husband cannot f—king throw the ball and catch the ball at the same time. I can’t believe they dropped the ball so many times,” said Bündchen blowing off steam after the loss according to NY Daily News.

Though there were several missed opportunities by Patriots' wide receivers, including Wes Welker who dropped a critical pass with four minutes go, fans attacked the supermodel for her outburst in their blogs. Most of the Pats kept quiet, but defensive back James Ihedigbo couldn’t help but commenting, “You can’t point fingers at anybody. Wes made amazing plays all season. You win it as a team; you win it and lose it as a team. And we lost to a good football team.”
