Latino Celebrities Send Their Love To Paris Amid "Unprecedented Terrorist Attacks"

Prayers are going out to Paris tonight as the France’s capital city came under attack.

Thus far, at least 118 were killed in gunfire and blasts in what appears to be coordinated terror attacks taking place across the city, reports CNN affiliate BFMTV.

President Francois Hollande called the events “unprecedented terrorist attacks.”

About 100 to 150 hostages were rescued by police from the Bataclan concert venue and some appeared to be wounded. Reports also indicate that around 100 people were killed at the concert hall when two gunmen unleashed an attack claiming multiple lives, according to CNN. The two attackers have since been killed, a police union said. 

He tweeted, “Faced with terror, this is a nation that knows how to defend itself, how to mobilize its forces and once again, knows how to overcome the terrorists.”

U.S. President Barack Obama said at the White House, “This is an attack not just on Paris, not just on the people of France, but an attack on all humanity and the universal values we share.”

As news spread worldwide, people everywhere began sending their condolences via social media, including celebrities like Demi Lovato, Christina Milian, Joan Smalls, and “Today” show host, Natalie Morales, among others. 

"Just heard about Paris, praying for you all right now," Lovato tweeted

Puerto Rican supermodel, Joan Smalls, wrote on Instagram, "I'm so heartbroken. We need peace and harmony in our hearts and in this world. This needs to stop. Favor orar por Paris. #Peace"

Camila Alves tweeted, "My heart is with the people of Paris." 

"Thinking of those in Paris tonight, after another horrific terriost attack," Morales tweeted. "#Prayers4Paris!"

Eva Longoria tweeted, "Just landed off a plane and my heart is breaking for #Paris and the country of France. I am praying with you." 

John Leguizamo showed off his French language skills as he sent a message of love to Paris.

Milian simply tweeted, "Prayers up for Paris. #Prayers4Paris"
