Jennifer Lopez Donates $1 Million To Puerto Rico For Hurricane Relief

Jennifer Lopez has always been a proud Boricua and today she stepped up to help her beloved isla in a big way.

Standing with NY Governor Andrew Cuomo, J Lo pledged to donate $1 million dollars from the proceeds of her Las Vegas show to help all those affected by Hurricanes Irma and Maria on Puerto Rico. The catastrophic hurricanes were the strongest to hit Puerto Rico in almost a century.

Jenny from the block has been personally affected by what's happening in PR. Earlier in the week she took to Instgram to plead for support and say she and her cousin haven't been able to reach family on the island.

J Lo's bae, A Rod, is also helping in the efforts: “Alex Rodriguez and I, who are both New Yorkers, are utilizing all our resources and relationships in entertainment, sports and business to garner support for Puerto Rican and Caribbean relief efforts,” Lopez said.
