Bueno mi gente, we are on a roll this week! First, we found out that 'Upscale Hispanics' could be the answer to healing our middle class, and then Jennifer Lopez revealed how we Latinos in the United States are finally realizing our power.

Now the word is that Hispanics in the U.S. will soon outnumber the current white majority. According to the newest U.S. census data, Asians and Hispanics are on their way to becoming the new majority. NBC Latino reports that approximately 49.9 percent of children under five years of age in the U.S. are racial and ethnic minorities.

The Census Bureau reported on Thursday that for the first time in history, the number of deaths outnumbered the number of births among non-Hispanic whites between July 2011 and July 2012. This occurred during the same time period that the U.S. Hispanic population grew by more than 1.1 million.
