
George W. Bush Says Immigrants Vital to Economy

After a long public silence on immigration, former President George W. Bush praised immigrants Tuesday as critical to the U.S. labor market and appealed for the country to be welcoming of them.
The former president delivered a short opening speech on immigrants and the economy at a symposium the George W. Bush Presidential Center hosted on immigration and economic growth.
