According to Fox News Latino, an immigration judge will have the final say as to whether these nine will be able to remain in the U.S. permanently, but a ruling such as this could take years.

The Executive Office for Immigration Review says new cases for immigrants not being held in detention centers are being scheduled in Arizona for 2014.

Fox News Latino reports that the Dream 9 may be eligible for work permits in the meantime.
