The nine immigration activists, best known as Dream 9, are making great progress following their arrest two weeks ago.
Yesterday it was announced that the U.S. Department of Homeland Security would be allowing the young group of activists a chance to pursue asylum. On Wednesday, the Dream 9 team were also released from the Arizona's Eloy Detention Center.
The National Immigration Youth Alliance, which has been campaigning to bring the Dream 9 back home, announced their release.
"I am good, very excited. It's a big surprise," said Dream 9 activist Maria Peniche.
