Cleveland Kidnap Case: Gina DeJesus Forgets Spanish While in Captivity

Now Gina is focusing on her mental and emotional recovery. "Gina wants to go back to school, get her driver's license and get a haircut," revealed Matt Zone, a Cleveland city councilman, to People. While spending time with her family, Zone learned, “She wants to learn to put on makeup, all those girly things. It's the simple things – those are the things that are the most precious to her.” Zone also confessed that Gina’s mother Nancy Ruiz plans on teaching her daughter Spanish again.

"I had the heart and soul to fight to see this day because I knew my daughter was out there alive. I knew she needed me and I never gave up,” said her father Felix DeJesus during a press conference last week.
