Donald Trump’s not the only politico rockin’ white caps with immigration messages. In fact, we think one Texas lawmaker’s look (and slogan) has got the Donald beat.
In July, the Republican frontrunner made a trip to Laredo, Texas to discuss plans of putting a giant wall on the U.S.-Mexico border that would discourage people from illegally trekking north into the U.S.
News of his appearance went viral, but this time, it was Trump’s attire, not his inflammatory commentary, that got the country talking.
The mogul-turned-politician donned a white baseball hat that read, "Make America Great Again," a clear jab at the growing presence of Latin American immigrants in the country.
Coming back with a burly uppercut, however, is Texas Rep. Beto O'Rourke, who wore a similar-looking cap last week at the International 10K race from El Paso to Juárez, Mexico.
"The Border Makes America Great," reads the Democrat’s hat, an obvious response to Trump’s.
Take a look at both politicians’ white and black hats above, and tell us who you think won this style war.
