America Ferrera Protests For Immigration Reform At UT Austin

America Ferrera is using her fame to draw attention to immigration reform at the University of Texas, after an anti-immigrant "game" drew national attention to the university.

Earlier this week, the Young Conservatives of Texas at the University of Texas attempted to launch a game called “Catch an Illegal Immigrant.” Participants would be asked to wear a sign that says “Illegal immigrant” on their clothing, and those who capture one of these “illegals” would be awarded a $25 gift card.

The game was blasted by angry internet commenters and news outlets, forcing the YCT to cancel the event.
