
Mexico's President Señor Calderon Goes to Washington

Mexican President Felipe Calderon and his wife paid a special visit to Washington DC this week. First ladies Michelle Obama and Margarita Zavala met with young children at a local elementary school while the President's held a press conference addressing the new immigration laws passed in Arizona. The activities culminated in President Barack Obama hosting a grand state dinner in Mexico's honor.

Mexican President Felipe Calderon (left) and U.S. President Barack Obama walk back to the Oval Office after their joint press conference in the Rose Garden at the White House on May 19. The two are expected to discuss immigration policy, the drug war and trade between Mexico and the United States.
