Celebrities Suffering from Foot-in-Mouth Syndrome

We've all said things that we regret, but when you're a celebrity in the spotlight, sticking your foot in your mouth has much graver implications. Everyone from the lovely Sofia Vergara to Wilmer Valderrrama has spoken before really thinking. In fact, a ton of celebs have suffer from this disease, some even chronically (we're looking at you, Rick Sanchez)!

Here's a round up of Latino celebs who have stuck their foot in it:

1. Foot in Mouth: Juan Williams

Juan Williams has been all over the news this week, after admitting on The O'Reilly Factor that he "gets nervous" when he sees people in Muslim garb boarding at the airport. Williams was dismissed from his position as a reporter with NPR almost immediately after making the remarks, but the Fox News team has since offered the journalist a three year, $2 million deal.

2. Foot in Mouth: Sofia Vergara

Sofia Vergara caused an upoar when she visited The View in November 2009 and made an incredibly inappropriate joke about being raped. She was trying to be funny when she said that since she has an 18-year-old son, the only way she could hide her age would be to lie and say she was raped when she was thirteen—but the statement elicited audible groans from a few of the ladies on the panel!

3. Foot in Mouth: Gisele Bundchen

Mom's across the world were up in arms when Gisele Bündchen told Harper's Bazaar, “There should be a worldwide law, in my opinion, that mothers should breastfeed their babies for 6 months.” Some mami's took her side, pointing to the obvious benefits of breastfeeding for both mother and child, but others felt she should mind her own business. Either way, Gisele, mother to 10-month-old Benjamin Brady, released a formal statement that read: "Becoming a new mom has brought a lot of questions, I feel like I am in a constant search for answers on what might be the best for my child. I am sure if I would just be sitting talking about my experiences with other mothers, we would just be sharing opinions. I understand that everyone has their own experience and opinions and I am not here to judge."

4. Foot in Mouth: Rick Sanchez

Rick Sanchez was fired from his position with CNN after he went on the Stand Up with Pete Dominick radio show and made controversial comments about Jews in the media, and host of The Daily Show Jon Stewart. Sanchez claimed Stewart was a "bigot" and said that CNN and the other networks are all run by Jewish people. Sanchez went on to scoff, "To imply that somehow they—the people in this country who are Jewish—are an oppressed minority? Yeah."

5. Foot in Mouth: Wilmer Valderrama

Wilmer Valderrama shocked everyone (including his ex-girlfriends) when he visited Howard Stern's radio show in March of 2006. The actor gave an incredibly racey interview and spoke about many of the famous women he'd slept with...in detail. Mandy Moore got the worst rap when Valderrama claimed that he'd taken her virginity and said, "The sex with Mandy was good, but it wasn't like warm apple pie." Wilmer also dished about his romps with Lindsay Lohan, Ashley Simpson and Jennifer Love Hewitt—who claimed he was lying about ever bedding her.
