Actress Angelina Jolie recently met with Haitian earthquake victims currently receiving medical care in a Dominican hospital. The U.N. Goodwill Ambassador traveled to the Dario Contrera Hospital located in the capital of Santo Domingo to tour the center and speak with several of the dozens of survivors, some of whom recognized Jolie and asked for her help.
During the trip, she was accompanied by Gonzalo Vargas Llosa, a rep of the UN High Commissioner for Refugees and the son of Peruvian writer Mario Vargas Llosa. Jolie is expected to head to Haiti at some point today.
