We may have been surprised by the news that Jennifer Lopez and hubby Marc Anthony have decided to "end their marriage" but not everyone is, judging by the Facebook reaction to the news! And it is true that both Puerto Rican stars have never been lucky in love.

Ahhh, love—so exciting and new! Until, all of a sudden, it's not anymore.
Unfortunately, all weddings do not end in happily ever after. As Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony can attest—they announced they’re calling it quits today!—it's harder to maintain marital bliss than it seems. At least they can take some consolation in the fact that they are far from the only famous Latino couple to fizzle out.
Here are some other famous Latin celeb divorces:

When Hector and I began planning our wedding we kind of decided against giving each other presents. I know many people believe it’s a tradition, but we figured a wedding is enough money and our honeymoon can be our gift to each other. And honestly, I don’t even know the meaning behind the “tradition”. However, now that the date is getting closer I am seriously considering gifting him something. I know my man, and he is always surprising me with gifts and I would feel terrible if he surprises me once again on our wedding day and I didn’t return the gesture.

This week, in honor of the MLB All-Star game, our Crushing On voting features baseball players who have been lucky (and skilled) enough to be selected for the big game tomorrow.
We've had our eye on the second basemen for the NY Yankees for a while now, he was even featured on our guys page of Latina magazine, but he's had a breakout season and now is going to be starting for the American League All Star team!

Getting married to the person you love and want to spend the rest of your life with is such a beautiful testament to the relationship you have with one another. I can’t wait until the day comes for me to experience that milestone in my own life and I believe EVERYONE should be entitled to this form of expression. The right to wed should be solely based on love and not on gender.

While there is still some time for wedding preparations I think it’s smart to start thinking about our honeymoon. I know some of you may think that a honeymoon is not important or something I shouldn’t make a priority, but traveling is something both Hector and I love to do, so this trip will really represent us as a married couple. Honeymoons can get pretty expensive and will take some time to plan, so I’d like to get this out of the way before I get crazed with last-minute wedding stuff.
