
Our Modern Latina Bride Makes DIY Wedding Favors

I am just 10 days away from my wedding and I’m finally starting to get a little nervous! Not necessarily because of the commitment I’m making to the love of my life, but because I want to make sure I get all the little things done for the wedding. I have been so on point with checking things off my list that I don’t want to forget anything now.
I know, I know, it’s not about the wedding and more about our love—but I’ll be honest, I want my wedding to be fabulous! Since my bachelorette party is next weekend, last weekend was my only chance to get my DIY favors done, so I bought some wine, cheese, and crackers and lured my friends to come over and start an assembly line. Instead of escort cards, I'm using jars filled with pink Himalayan sea salt that have the guest’s name and table number on the lid, and as a thank you gift I am handing out lavender and rosebud sachets.
I was actually really surprised to see that we were done putting everything together in only a few hours, but that’s a testament to team work! Tell me what you think:
