Crushing On... Victor Cruz
By Latina Staff | 12/22/2011 - 09:25 | 0 Comments
It was a fierce battle this week between part-Puerto Ricans Bruno Mars and Victor Cruz. The singer and athlete kept topping each other for the title of this week’s Crush, but Cruz ended up triumphant in the end – with more than 50 percent of all votes.
All we can say is… dayuuum. Victor Cruz, the New York Giants receiver, is one of the most promising men in the football game right now. The New Jersey-bred athlete (who is part-Boricua and part-black) played collegiate sports; he was a part of the UMass Minutemen football team. He was so good, in fact, that Cruz ranked fourth on the all-time UMass receptions list. Not bad for someone who didn’t start a game until his junior season! Cruz was later signed by the New York Giants and we now get to watch him move from the comfort of our homes.
