In the cover story, we asked the icon about fatherhood, his lead Broadway role in Evita, and how coming out of the closet was liberating for him, “[It was important] for myself, my family, my core fans," he said, "They feel more in touch with me and I feel more in touch with them. If I feel free, they’re going to feel free and vice versa. It’s contagious.”
