Inspiring Latina of the Week: 'Loving Curves Collective' Founder & CEO Jessica Medina

Jessica Medina is the Founder and CEO of Loving Curves Collective, a New York-based company and soon-to-be online store, that focuses on empowering and educating women to show off the beauty of their curves. The Dominicana strives encourage women from all ethnic backgrounds to embrace their body and be proud of who they are with events, photo shoots, and weekly video fashion tips.

In addition to her work with Loving Curves Collective, Jessica is a TV Personality and celebrity reporter, who has interviewed the likes of Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony. She is also a regular contributor to Yahoo! Voices. Medina was awarded early this year as a “40 under 40 Latina Rising Star” by the New York State Hispanic Coalition.

She is also a wife, a mother of two (with a baby on the way!), and an avid supporter of the Latino community. For all of this, and so much more, Jessica Medina is this week’s Inspiring Latina!

Tell us a little about a typical day in the life of Jessica Medina?

My typical day is very busy. I make sure I prepare my kids to go to school in the morning and then my work day begins.  Normally I have a schedule of on air interviews I have to do for my current employer, articles for Yahoo!, and overseeing every part of my company Loving Curves Collective. The best part of my day is the evening time finishing my day being a mom, with homework, playtime, dinner, talk, bedtime story, etc. I have many jobs.
