You graduated from Anahauc University in Mexico City earning a degree in business administration and marketing. Why do you believe that education is important?
Education is freedom and power. I believe it provides you with better opportunities to leave a legacy behind for future generations.
What gives you the most pride about being a Latina?
I’m part the fastest growing minority group in the U.S. who had a buying power of $1.2 trillion in 2012 and estimated to increase to $1.5 trillion by 2015. Also, Latino-owned businesses are growing three times faster than the general population, so knowing that I contribute to those numbers as a successful, educated Latina is definitely something to be proud of. Additionally, being a member of the Million Dollar Round Table, a premiere worldwide association of financial professionals, along with being a Forum Member at Northwestern Mutual- among the top 3% producers nationwide in the company and the only Latina- is something that truly makes me proud to say I am a Latina.
