Yes, everyone knows it’s all about the turkey, but one way to step up your Thanksgiving game is with kick-ass sides and desserts. It’s easy with these Latin riffs on five homey dishes. Show up on your host’s doorstep with gorgeous chipotle gratin or luscious pumpkin arroz con leche, and you’ll impress everyone, even those hard-to-please guests. Best of all, you won’t have to spend the day slaving away in the kitchen. Now that’s something to be thankful for.

Thanksgiving is the biggest food holiday of the year and not the time to be changing the menu! After all, your family looks forward to this day all year. But as the cook, you may be a little bored with the same old turkey and mashed potatoes. So why not give one element of your Thanksgiving menu a Latina twist? Or, go crazy and feed them a whole new dinner menu, you can always go back to boring next year.

I love hearing the relaxing sound of water in an outdoor space. It’s a must in any design plan I come up with for a patio or backyard since it creates an environment that appeals to all our senses. Lucky for us, there are many options that easily allow us to bring a water feature into our outdoor retreat without breaking the bank.
