Sofia Vergara
The Colombian actress known for being the queen of comedy on Modern Family has gone through her share of struggles. Sofia was diagnosed with thyroid cancer when she was 28 years old. In her interview with ABC Nightline, she reflected on her reaction when she heard the news, "You always think, 'death.' You don't -- that's all you think when they tell you that." However, she kept telling herself, “Let’s keep going,” and her endurance paid off. She received treatment back in 2000, and is living cancer free today.
