Looking gorgeous doesn’t have to mean spending a lot of money. Just ask Francia Raisa, whose favorite products come from moderately priced cosmetic lines she can find at the drugstore.

"I really like Neutrogena for skin care and Covergirl makeup," says the Secret Life of the American Teenager star.  "I can’t stand heavy makeup. I feel like my skin can’t breathe, and Covergirl is really light."

Costa Rica Elects First Female President in Landslide Victory

With most of the votes counted from Sunday’s election, it looks like Costa Ricans have elected their first woman president. Laura Chinchilla maintains a 47 percent share of vote, far beyond the 40 percent needed to avoid a run-off. Chinchilla, a social conservative who represents the ruling National Libertarian party, promised during her campaign to continue free market policies in Central America's most stable nation.

It's only February and summer is (or at least feels) a lifetime away. With the holidays over, we find our family has a lot more free time.  But just because there's less to do does not mean we're ready to settle into hibernation for the remainder of these chilly days. I'm all about getting the kids out of the house at least once a day. I believe it's necessary for their, and my, sanity, not to mention it's important for them to do a little exercise and expend some energy.
