I can't remember the last time I went "looking" for love. All of my boyfriends sort of found me and the men I've dated usually spotted me from across a room and approached, fully armored with the intent to seduce. My nonchalant attitude, however, irks most of my friends and family. They don't think I'm taking love seriously and are terrified I will end up alone.

Dear Dolores:

I’m currently making a lot of lifestyle changes: eating healthy, exercising, quitting smoking, attending college and developing a music career. I’m troubled, though, because many of the friends I’ve had for years are still drinking, smoking, eating junk food and lacking ambition. Worst of all, although I don’t relate to them anymore, I feel myself falling back into my old habits when I’m around them. I feel like I have outgrown our friendship, but I feel bad just cutting ties with them. Am I being big-headed?
