Here's What’s New at Walt Disney World® Resort
Disney

I want to thank Disney for hosting my family and me at the Walt Disney World® Resort where we spent a magical time filled with pixie dust.

One of the things that keeps my family coming back to Walt Disney World® Resort time and time again is that there is always something new to discover. As the kids grow and we get more experienced at navigating the parks and attractions, we love going back to old favorite rides and shows where we can relive cherished family memories. But we also look forward to the excitement and exhilaration of getting on a brand new ride or finding a new magical show or experience.  No matter how often you visit the Walt Disney World® Resort, things are always changing. There are always magical surprises, and this makes each of our family vacations so much more special and exciting.

Walt Disney World® Resort is special because we are able to meet characters from beloved films, and it’s always exciting when new favorite characters, like Elena and Chewbacca, make their park debut. Hopping on attractions from movies we love, like “Frozen,” or enjoying fantastic new shows is part of what makes a Walt Disney World® vacation special and unforgettable for us.

On our recent trip, we got to enjoy some of the amazing brand new experiences, and we want to share with you some of the newest attractions at Walt Disney World® Resort.

Magic Kingdom® Park

Cinderella Castle is without a doubt one of the most magical and fantastic icons at Magic Kingdom® Park. The all-new Mickey’s Royal Friendship Faire stage show not only uses the castle as a backdrop, it also brings together beloved Disney characters Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck, Daisy Duck and Goofy who are joined by Tiana of “Princess and the Frog” and Rapunzel of “Tangled,” along with Anna and Elsa of “Frozen.” My daughter was thrilled to see her favorite princesses dance and sing together. Even my son was in awe as he watched the show, which is filled with stunts and fireworks.

Jungle Navigation Co. Ltd. Skipper Canteen in Adventureland® Area features a menu full of Asian, South American and African cuisines inspired by the flavors of the rivers found on the nearby Jungle Cruise® Attraction. This is a great new option when it comes to dining at the Magic Kingdom® Park. Not only are the food offerings delicious and exciting, but the restaurant is staffed by the wise-cracking crew of the Jungle Cruise® Attraction, which makes for a really fun dining experience.

Epcot®

The Norway Pavilion at Epcot® is now home to two new experiences with the “Frozen” movie princesses Elsa and Anna and their friends. My daughter loves Anna and Elsa, and, on our last visit to Epcot®, we got to embark on a fantastic boat journey through the kingdom of Arendelle on the all-new Frozen Ever After Attraction. We were joined by Queen Elsa, Princess Anna, Kristoff, Olaf, the trolls and Marshmallow, and we even got to see Elsa’s enchanted ice palace. And now Frozen fans can also meet the royal sisters in the cozy Royal Sommerhus in the Norway Pavilion.

On Soarin’®, you can now experience the wonders of the world. You really feel like you are flying across the globe and getting a bird’s eye view of iconic places, such as The Great Wall of China and the Sydney Harbor. This spectacular and immersive experience is now one of our family’s favorite attractions at Epcot®.

Turtle Talk with Crush has always been one of our most treasured experiences at Epcot®. My kids could not stop giggling as they interacted with Crush the first time we went, and now this attraction has gotten even better as Dory and some of her friends from the Disney•Pixar’s “Finding Dory” have joined Crush.

If your family enjoyed the Disney•Pixar film “Inside Out,” you’ll love to know that you can now meet Joy and Sadness from “Inside Out” at Epcot Character Spot. On the way to Headquarters, you will journey through Riley’s long-term memory, catching a glimpse of her Islands of Personality before joining Joy and Sadness at the console.
