25 Books Every Latina Should Read

In response to Esquire's list of 75 Books Every Person Should Read (which we found ludicrously tilted in favor of old, dead white dudes), we decided to compile a list of the best literature every Latina should check out. Although we focused on Latin American literature, there are also a few universal masterpieces that we were compelled to include.

We realize there is no way every single Latina is going to agree with this list, so let us know what you think we forgot, or if you think we're just plain old loca!

Without further ado, here is our definitive list of the 25 Books Every Latina Should Read!

Great list! I have read some, but not all, I will get busy reading! I am so happy that you are promoting literacy in the Latino Community. We need to read books by Latinos so more publishers will publish works by Latino authors. Keep up the good work! Adelante!
The link does not work!!!!! Please fix it. I really want to share the list.
I agree with Paz, Caramelo is a MUST read! OMG I TOO am inspired to start a book club - - - I don't know where to start next! :)
There must have been a glitch with the link yesterday because it would not pull up when I clicked on it but it worked perfectly today when I tried it. Great list!!!

Okay I am wondering too where the list is? Do I need to disable a block or something because I can't see a list?
