Where in the World are the Chilean Miners?

Looks like the Chilean miners who tugged at the world’s heartstrings last fall will continue to tell (and sell) their story. The 33 miners, who were rescued last October after being stuck in a copper and gold mine for over three months, signed their official life rights to the talent and literary agency William Morris. All areas of the miners’ life rights will be represented, including film, commercials, books, and television.

The miners made a pact with each other to not reveal what took place during their time underground but are free to make public appearances and give talks for pay.

The men have traveled all over the world together over the last few months on a media tour.  Check out our slideshow to find out where in the world Los 33 have been:

1. Chilean Miners: Universal Studios

The miners headed to Hollywood in November of 2010. They visited Universal Studios Hollywood in Universal City, California and taped CNN Heroes: An All-Star Tribute.

2. Chilean Miners: England Soccer Match

The miners took their love for soccer all the way to England to watch a match between Manchester United and Arsenal at Old Trafford in Manchester on December 13, 2010.

3. Chilean Miners: Disney

The miners, their rescuers and their families were saluted by Disney for their story of hope and perseverence. Complete with mouse-eared hard hats, the large group were given special all-star treatment at the Florida theme park in late January 2011.

4. Chilean Miners: Israel

The rescued miners and their families visited the Holy Land as guests of the Israeli Tourism Ministry in late February 2011. Their trip to Israel included visits to the Holy Sepulchre (seen here), Mount Zion, Mount of Olives, the tomb of King David, Bethlehem, Sea of Galilee, mineral mud baths at the Dead Sea and baptisms in the Jordan River. Where will these jet-setting heroes be seen next?
