Selena Gomez Makes a Plea for Haiti

With all the hype surrounding Selena Gomez's possible love connection with the Biebz, it was nice to see her taking time to speak out on something that really matters.

As we hit the one year anniversary of the devastating Haiti earthquake, the 18-year-old pop star (who has served as an ambassador for UNICEF for over two years) sent a message to her fans reminding them of the aftermath of this tragic event. Gomez pledged to be a champion for the children of Haiti and urged everyone to do the same by helping and donating whatever they can. We heart Selena!
