14-year-old Drug Cartel Hitman is an American Citizen

A 14-year-old boy was recently arrested and charged with murder while trying to cross the border from Mexico to San Diego. Authorities are claiming the young teen, named Edgar Jimenez, aka "El Ponchis," has been working as a hitman for the Pacifico Sur drug cartel based out of Cuernavaca, Mexico.

He reportedly worked alongside his 16-year-old sister, who dumped the headless bodies after her brother had finished his job. Jimenez, who was paid three thousand dollars per murder, told authorities that he had decapitated numerous rivals for the cartel.

"I participated in four executions, but I did it drugged and under threat that if I didn't, they would kill me," he explained to reporters. Jimenez claims that he was an orphan at the age of 12 and that he joined the cartel under threat from Julio "El Negro" Padilla, one of the leaders of Pacifico Sur.
Yesterday, CNN reported that Jimenez is a U.S. citizen. He was captured trying to make it to his stepmother's house in San Diego after a manhunt that lasted almost two months. Watch the report below:
