Susana Martinez made history yesterday, becoming the first ever Latina governor elect of a state in the U.S. But not everyone is excited. Martinez was a Tea Party darling and her ultra-conservative stance has some people refraining from celebrating her historical accomplishment.

Susana Martinez of New Mexico is the first Latina governor in the United States, beating incumbent Gov. Bill Richardson's handpicked successor, Diane Denish with 54% of the vote.
