Gossip sites claimed that Chiquis was the cause of the break-up between Jenni and Esteban. However, she has strongly denied the allegations. She tweeted, “Don’t believe everything you read. I would NEVER do that! Never! That’s a terrible accusation.” An emotional Chiquis also spoke to El Rojo Vivo about the dilemma, “I don’t know who would come up with these lies. How can people believe these rumors so terrible? That would be disrespectful to me, my mom, and God.”
