Texas is in much need of volunteers and donations after Hurricane and Tropical Storm Harvey has created life-threatening flooding in and around Houston on Sunday.
Houston has surpassed New York City and Los Angeles as the nation’s most diverse metro area and is the fourth-largest city in the United States. The number of Texas community members being affected by the flooding continues to rise and they are in dire need of relief.
Celebrities have started to drive donations and help rebuild the communities. Legendary JJ Watt from the Houston Texans donated $100,000 to flood victims and set a Houston Flood Relief Fund with a goal of $500,000. Powerhouse Kevin Hart donated $25,000 and started a #HurricaneHarveyReliefChallenge on Instagram tagging celebrity friends like Houston’s Beyonce to do the same.
Below are ways you can help our friends from South Texas - let’s pay it forward!
